We spent our first 2 nights in Canada at a delightful Bed and Breakfast in Niagara Falls, Ontario. We highly recommend this B&B, THE CHESTNUT INN where we stayed in
THE BLUE ROOM. (See pictures below)

Their breakfast specialty is APPLE FRENCH TOAST which is to die for!

Of course, the main attraction in Niagara Falls is the Falls. We rode THE MAID OF THE MIST and we took a JOURNEY BEHIND THE FALLS.

First, the American Fall and Bridal Veil Falls

-

Next we saw the Canadian Falls also known as Horseshoe Falls

And here's a Panoramic Photo I found

Next, we rode THE MAID OF THE MIST.

At Noon we had lunch with another couple of our Canadian Snow-Bird friends, Richard and Bob, who live near Niagara. We had a great meal at the MANDARIN in the Mall on the QEW. After catching them up on the lives of our mutual friends, we returned to our B & B via Niagara on the Lake and down the River road. We spent the rest of the evening resting and watching a little TV.

The next morning we took a JOURNEY BEHIND THE FALLS. This is a tunnel behind Horseshoe Falls with viewing portals and an observation deck just beside the falls.

The final picture from Niagara is a shot of the Falls from Above.

From The Falls we began our 188 mile drive north to our friends' home on the Bruce Peninsula, between Georgian Bay and Lake Huron.
